In March I spent a few days along the coast of South Carolina. Here are a few images of a magical sunset along the shore. Several of these have been made with extremely long shutter speeds to capture the waning light. My favorites are those I call Flying Shadows - images that reveal just barely the shadowy wings of thousands of shore birds that flew above the incoming tide after sunset.
