Springtime in Yellowstone is always a special time. The valleys are turning green and there is a sense of rebirth everywhere. Babies abound. Before the summer heat arrives, much of the wildlife remains in the valleys. The capstone of this visit was watching a large grizzly courting a most reluctant large female grizzly, which led to hours of chases, roars, woofing and battle, before disappearing into the woods.
