Prints

Most of the images in my galleries are available for purchase. They may be purchased in a variety of sizes. To order prints, visit the gallery and view the images. There is a print ordering selection for each image. All prints are sold with a 100% satisfaction guarantee and may be purchased either via PAYPAL or by contacting me to make some other arrangement.

All of the images on this site were captured using Canon's top of the line professional equipment or were captured using a variety of traditional 35 mm or medium format film equipment and then professionally scanned into digital files. I process each image individually to optimize it for the printing process. All prints are made using heavyweight fine art cotton papers and advanced pigment based inks. This combination of archival materials results in prints that are vibrant and rich in color. Most customers comment that the printed image is far superior to what they could appreciate when looking at the image on a computer monitor.

I create each print at the time of order and on request I will personally sign each print. If you have any questions regarding the prints, please contact me.

Due to the costs of shipping and the need to consider surrounding wall decorations and colors, I do not generally offer at this time matting or framing options.

The most popular print types that I offer are: Traditional print as described above; (2) Metal Prints, and; (3) Acrylic Face Mounts. Metal prints and acrylic face mounts have become very popular in displays ranging from museums and exhibits to homes and offices. Both offer the advantage that they do not need to be framed and seem to float above the wall. Metal prints are rigid and smooth and have bold eye-catching color and vibrancy, with a hanger attached in the back.

Face mounts start with a photographic print that is face mounted to a sheet of clear acrylic. This layer of acrylic is what creates the unique qualities of an Acrylic Mount. Then a Dibond* back is added to protect the print and give the piece rigidity. An inset aluminum subframe is attached to the backer to create a float mount where the piece appears to float on the wall. Face mounts provide a vibrancy, depth and gloss that is hard to match.

On certain images, by request, I will offer mounted images, including canvas and the colorbox or colorplak print mounting. The print is professionally mounted on a sturdy 3/8" high density MDF wood substrate, and a special protective vinyl laminate is heat-pressed to the print, making it UV, water, and fingerprint resistant. The wood edges are then beveled and trimmed with with a black finished edge. The print is mounted seamlessly to a 1"-thick black box frame which hangs flush against the wall.
