Last night's storms have given way to a new dawn. The final trailing remnants of cloud and fog rise from the valley below, flowing up the mountain's western slopes and finally across this rocky cliff high atop Shenandoah National Park. Puddles in the dips and crags of these cliffs will dry soon in the sun and wind of a new day. Photo © copyright by Ed Fuhr.
