Willow Flats Spring
Grand Teton National Park
After days of rain, snow showers and fog, the clouds have parted and a new day dawns over Willow Flats and the Teton mountain range. The Flats are a rich refuge for elk and moose, and the apex predators that hunt them. As the sun illuminates the freshly snow-covered mountain range, the elk that have been foraging in the open meadows of the Flats retreat to more secluded and safer havens.
