A bit further up the road my passage was again delayed - this time by a large but not massive bull moose that was hastily climbing the embankment in retreat from two much larger moose. Moose are deceptively fast, unpredictable and dangerous, especially during the fall rut. Photo © copyright by Ed Fuhr.
