Denali National Park
After establishing his dominance, the largest of the two bull moose, easily weighing more than 1600 pounds, sprints across the colorful tundra to the cow moose below. These bulls may seem slow, but they can run 35 miles an hour and are an amazing sight in action, especially as they move from my roadway where I am hiking across Denali. Photo © copyright by Ed Fuhr.
