Huemul Deer
Los Huemules Reserve, Chalten, Argentina
An extremely endangered species of deer native to the mountains of Chile and Argentina. It is believed there are fewer than a few hundred remaining, but this one seems oblivious to us hiking by in the conservation district named after it. Photo © copyright by Ed Fuhr.
