There is always a mad rush here before sunrise, but sometimes it is an hour or more later, when the crowds have thinned, that a different magic appears, as the sun clears the final hillsides to the east and illuminates the entire Oxbow Bend in its warm light. Photo © copyright by Ed Fuhr.
