Watching A Larger Bear Approach

At last the smaller grizzly, likely a female, see that a large male grizzly has approached within a few hundred yards. She stands for a closer look to confirm her fears. In a flash she is off, running thousands of yards straight up the mountain to put as much distance between her and him as she can. Photo © copyright by Ed Fuhr.
