Lamar River Crossing
Yellowstone National Park
The Lamar River is a 40-mile-long major tributary of the Yellowstone River, located entirely within the northeastern region of Yellowstone National Park. Originating in the Absaroka-Beartooth Mountains, it flows through the iconic, wildlife-rich Lamar Valley before joining the Yellowstone River near Tower Junction. Photo © copyright by Ed Fuhr.
