Moss Campion
Denali National Park
One of the most iconic and beloved alpine flowers of Denali, moss campion sports a dense moss-like cushion with hundreds of small give-petaled magenta flowers packed tightly together. Moss campion cushions can live well over 100 years, with dense cushion trapping warm air, reducing wind exposure and protecting from freezing temperatures.
