Denali's Wildflowers

In Denali, summer wildflowers are not ornaments - they are the fabric of the landscape, from high rocky alpine ridges, through the wide expanse of open tundra, the gravelly bars of the river, to the shaded, moist edges of the forest and drainages.   Summer is a season of detail, fragility and rapidly passing time.  How such an incredible array of wildflowers can survive and strut in such conditions is a miracle as profound as the great mountains that surround them.
