Wild Angelica

With its characteristic domed flower, this plant belongs to the carrot family, featuring large white umbrels with hundreds of white-green flowers that open simultaneously to the delight of pollinators, and a thick, smooth green flowering stalk. Long, narrow green bracts hang beneath each umbrella. This plant is distinguished from cow parsnip which has a much larger, flatter flower cluster and broader, deep lobed leaves.
